About This Project
As part of my instructional design field work I partnered with Girl Scouts of West Central Florida and worked with the Adult Training Team to designed a series of emerging professional videos to be used in their LMS. The objective of this video was to explain the concept of being an effective team member and how to have a good team mentality to mid level professionals.

Design Process
The first step in the development of the emerging professional videos was to create a list of topics that the Training Team wanted to see implemented into the LMS. After the topics were compiled, I began researching and creating scripts. I used Microsoft word to outline and share the gathered information.
Video Animation
Once the scripts were approved by the Adult Training Team I began the process of creating the training videos in Vyond. At this time I was familiar with Vyond and was able to create videos at a much faster pace. The key to creating the Emerging Professional Videos was to keep them between 6-9 minutes long, use both text and audio, and create as much engaging content as possible by switching up the background scenes and character interactions.
Background Creation
As this was a training created for Girl Scouts of West Central Florida Employees, my goal was to recreate the spaces of the office as much as possible to create a realistic and relatable training even though it is through animated videos. I used the skills I had developed by working in Vyond previously, and attention to details and Girl Scout branding to try and simulate the culture of Girl Scouting through the training videos.
Final Product
After implementing feedback from the Adult Training Team I worked with the Adult Learning Manager to launch the videos onto the LMS. The learning path was officially titled Professional Skills and the 13 courses were added to the learning path to be assigned to staff members as their supervisors saw fit.
