Pearson VUE Proctor Guide
About This Project
As part of my role as Academic Advisor I oversaw the testing center. We proctored Pearson VUE exams the most and had a lot of change over with proctor staffing. I used Articulate Rise to create this interactive training guidebook. The objective of this guide was to explain the role of the testing proctor as well as give them situational experience and knowledge checkpoints in a stress free situation before completing their certification process and becoming an active proctor.

Proctor Guide Book
Design Process
The first step in the development of the Pearson VUE Proctor Guidebook was to script the main guidebook. Once I had an outline for the overall guidebook I was able to build individual outlines for each exam we administer. Once I had created each topic of the course I was able to use a flow chart to chronologically organize the materials.

Flowchart
Once I had the flowchart and the modules I was able to walk through the tasks of the testing proctor and order them into a way that makes sense for the testing proctors to learn. I started with the overall exam owner explanation, then the individuals role and ended with explanation of their daily tasks.

Scripting
The scripting process to create the learning content was fairly easy once I had my modules built. I was able to use the Pearson VUE proctor resources to make sure the content was correct and use the Storyline software to easily build the course.
